Odoo Business Analyst

We are hiring a Business Analyst with a very strong Odoo background to help translate business needs into clear requirements, scalable processes, and well-executed Odoo configurations. This person will work cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, and technical teams to improve workflows, data quality, reporting, and system adoption.

You will own discovery and requirements, support solution design, coordinate testing and training, and ensure Odoo changes deliver measurable operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Lead stakeholder discovery sessions to document current-state processes, pain points, and future-state requirements.

• Produce high-quality requirements artifacts: user stories, process maps, functional specs, acceptance criteria, and change requests.

• Define and manage scope, priorities, dependencies, and release plans in coordination with business owners.

Odoo Functional Ownership

• Configure and optimize Odoo modules and workflows (based on your experience) including:

  • CRM & Sales, Subscriptions, Invoicing/Accounting, Purchase, Inventory, Projects, Helpdesk, Manufacturing (if applicable), and Studio/Approvals/Automations.

• Translate requirements into practical Odoo solutions that balance usability, maintainability, and scalability.

• Partner with developers on customizations—write clear functional specs and validate delivered features.

Testing, Adoption, and Operational Excellence

• Create test plans and test cases; coordinate UAT; validate acceptance criteria.

• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end users and admins.

• Establish governance practices: data standards, role-based access, auditability, and change management.

• Define KPIs and reporting needs; collaborate on dashboards and operational reporting.

Project & Delivery Support

• Participate in sprint planning (or implementation planning), backlog grooming, and stakeholder status updates.

• Identify risks early and drive resolution across teams.

• Support post-go-live stabilization, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
